Guardian Smart Homes Ltd is committed to protecting the privacy and dignity of our clients. We provide environmental telemetry and independent living infrastructure. We do not provide medical services, and we do not collect medical records. Website inquiry data is kept only as long as necessary to fulfill your request. For active properties, we operate a strict “Zero-Knowledge” architecture. We collect passive environmental data (motion triggers, room temperature, door/window states). We DO NOT collect audio recordings, video feeds, or photographic images. Our systems are 100% camera-free and microphone-free.
GDPR Compliance (Article 28)
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), Guardian Smart Homes Ltd acts strictly as a Data Processor. We process machine-generated environmental telemetry on behalf of the nominated Professional Partner or family, who acts as the Data Controller. To protect vulnerable residents, we do not store the resident's name, physical address, or history on our cloud servers. Every Hub is assigned an alphanumeric Unique Identifier (e.g., GSH-BIRM-8842). The Data Controller retains the master ledger connecting this UID to the physical resident.
Terms of Service
Guardian Smart Homes Ltd provides localized, automated environmental safety systems and data telemetry conduits. We are not a diagnostic service, a human support service, or a substitute for statutory emergency services. In the event of a life-threatening emergency or fire, always dial 999 immediately. The Guardian Ecosystem relies on the successful transmission of data via third-party ISPs and cellular roaming networks; we accept no liability for system offline events caused by regional power grid blackouts, telecommunication failures, or altered personal device settings.
Trust & Safeguarding
At Guardian Smart Homes, trust and physical security are our absolute foundations. Every individual representing Guardian Smart Homes Ltd must hold a valid, up-to-date Basic DBS Certificate. All high-voltage electrical and gas valve integrations are strictly executed by independent, digitally verified NICEIC and Gas Safe registered sub-contractors. We strictly enforce vicarious liability checks, ensuring all field operatives possess current trade credentials and £2M Public Liability Insurance before work commences. We actively participate in national safeguarding initiatives (Safeguarding Adults Level 1, Dementia Friends, and Business Against Scams) to ensure our field operations are safe, respectful, and highly aware.
